Role Overview:
We are looking to recruit a Lead Business Performance Analyst (Senior Associate Grade) to join BDO’s Projects and MI team within the Shared Service Centre (SSC). This team is diverse in the role it plays and the areas it supports.
Role: This will be a challenging and rewarding role where you will:
Service Management:
Interpret requirements for new builds and updates for existing reporting/analysis
Work towards streamlining operational processes and improving controls
Operations reporting – time entry, utilisation, internal volumetric and KPI/SLA reporting
Complete complex ad hoc data analysis requests for clients
Identify data issues and proactively seek appropriate resolutions
Day to day operational support (to arrange cover where appropriate, for example)
Undertaking root cause analysis
Create regular reports based on client requirements (Internal and external)
Support the Operational teams with relevant data and expert analysis as required
Produce and analyse large monthly MI data sets for multiple clients (Internal and external)
Awareness of latest trends/technology advancements
Promote the use of consistent definitions across the business and make sure that any core differences are highlighted and understood
Skills and experience required:
Creative approach to analytical challenges
Demonstrable ability to take a lead role within a small team and effectively manage internal relationships
Strong numerical and analytical skills. Able to effect interpret, analyse, and report on complex data
Experience of IT systems including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Experience working on interactive data visualisation software required
MS Power BI developer preferred
A team player who is willing to ask questions to ensure tasks are completed effectively, and willing to assist colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertise
Able to quickly build positive and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Well organised with excellent time management skills
