Position: Ocean Import Operator Location: Leeds Hours: Mon - Fri 9:am - 17:00 Salary: up to£37,000 - £40,000 Our client is a leading independent freight forwarder, established for over 30 years. They offer international freight services by sea, air and road, including specialist, sea freight services including, full container load (FCL), less than container load (LCL/groupage), breakbulk and out-of-gauge shipments. Due to continued growth and expansion, we are now hiring for an experienced ocean import operator to join our friendly, dynamic team based from our branch in Leeds. The ideal candidate will have an operational background in freight forwarding with experience dealing with ocean freight import operations. Key responsibilities: Complete start-to-finish import consignments for via ocean freight ,ovements. Create bookings from the origin Provide freight rates, quotes and pricing solutions for customers Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, merchant haulage and various carriers Compete import customs entries via CDS Cargowise user preferred.Benefits: 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holiday Salary up to £37,000 - £40,000 10% share of nett profit company profits Pension: Enrolled after 3 months successful probation period Free healthcare after 3 years.
