Closing date:09 March 2025 We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join the team behind the ground-breaking HEY! Volunteer Programme. Our iconic blue-coated volunteer programme began back in 2016 to support Hull’s incredible year as UK City of Culture. Now called HEY! Volunteering, our story continues as we strive to improve lives and experiences through volunteering in Hull and East Yorkshire. Supporting the region’s communities, cultural events and tourism venues, our volunteers symbolise the energy and passion that makes a real difference to the region and has evidence-based impact on the wellbeing of the volunteers. HEY! Volunteering is at an exciting point in its lifespan as it looks to broaden opportunities and expand further across the region. You will be in a role that assists in the delivery and development of the programme at this important time, coordinating a broad range of volunteering opportunities and developing relationships with volunteer hosts across the region–with a particular focus on Bridlington and Goole. Successful candidates will play an important role in recruiting, training and supporting volunteers, alongside supporting the coordination the day to day operation of the programme. We are looking for a self-starter who can champion HEY! Volunteering, working under their own initiative within a dynamic team and a fast paced environment. Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are key, along with the ability to communicate effectively across a wide range of audiences. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and support a unique volunteer programme for Hull and East Yorkshire and one of the key legacies of Hull 2017.
