The Director of Children’s Services has historically received the support of Elected Members and the Chief Executive to invest in the capacity and expertise needed in our improvement journey. This post, that has been at the centre of the improvements to date, has become vacant.   The Council and its partners are proud of the significant improvements made and this post has been instrumental in making a positive difference for children and their families in Hull. The next step in our journey is to bring our partners together to think collectively and creatively about how to shape services in response to the Family First Partnership Programme.  This is a unique opportunity to help shape and transform services and be a senior leader who continues to drive our improvement journey, preparing for future inspections.   You will report to the Director of Children’s Services and be a key member of the directorate senior leadership team, leading transformation and services. You will be influential with Elected Members, senior leaders and lead discussions across the partnership to determine what Hull must do to take the reforms forward to continue the positive momentum in our improvement journey.    If you would like to bring your expertise in children’s services to Hull and be influential in translating the reforms in a way that makes a difference for children and their families in the city we would love to hear from you.   Interviews will be held 6th& 7th May 2025.
