Children and Young People Service are recruiting to a full time 37 hours Service Support Assistant position with Central Support Team, providing a flexible, high quality, efficient and responsive business support services complying with policy and guidance administering and processing Free Travel Pass applications for pupils to attend education.
Post holder is based at 79 Lowgate, we are looking for a highly motivated conscientious and efficient individual who is customer focused is able to work to tight deadlines in a demanding environment. You must be able to plan your own work, be able to follow processes.
the post holder role involves answering telephone calls for Childrens Safeguarding which can be difficult and challenging, you to be working within an emotive and demanding working environment. Other tasks include processing requisitions, meeting and greeting visitors to 79 Lowgate.
NVQ level 2, working towards a level 2 qualification or equivalent experience of working in a busy demanding environment, good interpersonal and communication skills, proficient in the use of IT, the role can be emotionally demanding, you must be able to maintain confidentiality working within GDP Regulations.
Hybrid working arrangements are in place however you will be expected to work in the office due to the role being reception based.
