You will have chance to develop your skills in the following areas: Functional assessment Intervention planning to increase individuals independence and reduce their care needs Provision of aids and adaptations Provision of highly specialised equipment Provision of major complex adaptations Specialised moving and handling skills Cognitive assessment Trauma informed care Assessment and recommendations of adapted housing needs Positive risk assessment Capacity assessment and Best interest decision making Moving and handling assessment You will also have the opportunity to work with a varied case load including: Complex long term neurological conditions Life limiting illnesses Offenders within prison and in the community Homelessness Self neglect and Hording Short term intervention with those recovering from illness/ injury Learning difficulties and autism Children transitioning into adulthood (16-25) Carers Sound interesting?
