Closing date:19 February 2025 About the Role: Hull City Council is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as aLearner Services Coordinator. This key role supports the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults while providing essential information and advice about training courses, commercial services, and the services we offer to our community. If you’re passionate about making a difference in people’s lives, are highly organised, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this could be the perfect role for you!  Key Responsibilities: Promote& Safeguard Welfare:Work towards promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults within our services. Telesales& Marketing:Provide detailed information and advice on training courses and services, perform telesales duties, and assist in promoting and marketing the centre’s activities. Recruitment Coordination:Manage recruitment activities across the service, input applications into systems, track enquiries, and create monitoring reports in collaboration with team members. Attendance Monitoring:Track and monitor learner attendance, identify trends, and collaborate with curriculum teams to support learners' progression and address attendance issues. Data Analysis& Reporting:Collect, analyse, and summarise learner progression data, making recommendations based on findings and preparing reports for management. Administrative Support:Provide comprehensive administrative support, including processing orders and invoices, maintaining the reception area. Content Management& Communication:Maintain and update the centre’s website and social media platforms with relevant and up-to-date information about services. Partnerships& Resources:Collaborate with external agencies to ensure learners have access to relevant course and career information, and ensure all resources are updated and accessible. Continuous Improvement:Contribute to the service’s self-assessment and continuous improvement processes in line with OFSTED guidelines and the education inspection framework. Health& Safety Compliance:Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and take personal responsibility for your health and safety and that of others in the workplace. Essential Criteria: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in a similar role, particularly in recruitment and administration. High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners. Ability to analyse data and generate reports to inform decision-making. Experience with managing databases and monitoring systems. Familiarity with safeguarding principles and commitment to promoting the welfare of vulnerable individuals. Proficient in the use of websites, social media, and content management systems.  Desirable Criteria: Experience in education, training, or youth work sectors. Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and related legislation.
