Key Responsibilities: Repair& Refurbishment: Perform comprehensive repairs and refurbishments on forklifts and heavy-handling equipment, both in the workshop and at customer sites. Diagnostics: Use schematic drawings and manuals to identify faults and ensure equipment operates at peak performance. Maintenance: Carry out regular servicing and part replacements, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Workshop Management: Oversee the upkeep of the workshop, including tool and equipment management. Customer Support: Provide exceptional after-sales support, addressing customer concerns and maintaining positive relationships. Workload Management: Maintain accurate timesheets and effectively manage your workload. Skills& Qualifications: Essential: Level 3 Qualification in Engineering or equivalent Minimum 3 years of mechanical engineering experience, particularly in forklift repair Proficient with mechanical power tools and workshop machinery Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems Compliance with health and safety regulations Full Driving License Desirable: Experience in electrical repairs for plant equipment Strong customer support background Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Compensation& Benefits: Salary range of 34000 - 36400 per annum (Reviewed annually) Overtime at enhanced rates (1.5x after 40 hours, 2x on Sundays and 3x on Bank Holidays) Bonus scheme, loyalty bonus, and additional overtime holiday pay Enhanced holiday days based on service Full-time, day shift schedule with occasional weekend availability Aqumen Business Solutions is acting as an Employment Agency for this vacancy.
