Closing date:23 February 2025 The Environmental Team Leader position is an exciting opportunity to join a team committed to improving the local environment of Hull. We are looking for leaders with a clear ethos of leading staff with empathy and compassion to ensure the day-to-day delivery of an effective Street Cleansing service across the city, improving the quality of the local environment for residents, local businesses, and visitors to the area. You will: Lead and manage a team of Grounds Operational Staff to deliver effective grounds maintenance services, including parks, open spaces and highway verges. Effectively plan and allocate resources to ensure all work is completed safely within agreed priorities, timescales and quality standards, considering customer needs, minimising disruption and ensuring that staff are equipped with the appropriate tools and equipment. Ensure risk assessments are performed and that team members are aware of and follow all safe operating procedures in accordance with the Corporate Health and Safety Policy.  This is a Fixed Term position for 12 months.
