Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting full-time opportunity in Slough? We are seeking enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join a dedicated team in providing outstanding support and Education and Training to primary school pupils. If you have experience in the UK curriculum and a passion for making a difference in the classroom, we want to hear from you! Roles and Responsibilities: Leading small group sessions and interventions to boost pupil progress Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum Covering classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring continuity of learning Supporting pupils with additional needs to ensure they are fully included in the classroom Working closely with teachers and the wider school team to monitor pupil progress and provide tailored support Contributing to the development of lesson plans and resources Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all pupils Requirements: Previous experience as an HLTA in UK primary schools is essential. HLTA status or an equivalent qualification is required A strong understanding of the primary curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A positive attitude and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team A passion for supporting children's learning and development The ability to manage and motivate pupils in a classroom environment Why Join Dunbar: A supportive and welcoming school environment with a strong emphasis on professional development.
