Headley Professional Recruitment is currently recruiting a new Health&Safety Advisor for our client in Halifax. The client is a leading interior fit out, fixtures, fitting and furniture installation company who work on projects across the UK. They create beautiful spaces for people to live, learn, work, and socialise in. They have extensive experience in designing and building interior spaces across several key sectors including student accommodation, private residential apartments, hotels, commercial offices, and public sector. They are looking for an experiences Health&Safety Advisor who can provide H&S support to the Board and to ensure the project teams are following health&safety regulations, legislation and policies and minimizing occupational risk on site. Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for guiding and supporting allocated project teams in the implementation of the Health and Safety systems and policies. * Required to guide and support allocated project teams by giving robust HS&E advice and able to coach in HS&E matters. * Identify hazards or deficiencies, rate and rank risk to enable effective evaluation and communication of any required actions. * Conduct inspections and audits of projects, establishments, and offices, and ensure these are undertaken in compliance with the compliance monitoring programme. * Carry out investigations and produce thorough and comprehensive reports that address the underlying issues. Skills and Experience: * Must have relevant experience in Health&Safety within a construction environment. * Sufficient environmental knowledge to support environmental improvements and * Good understanding of HSE&E legislation Interpersonal Skills: * Must be hardworking, honest&reliable. * A strong communicator with the ability to work within a team environment. Education&Qualifications: * Industry recognised HSE qualifications * NEBOSH H&S Management for Construction * Must hold a valid CSCS
