The Company My client is a large independent recruitment consultancy who have been established since the 1990's and have more that 55 branches around the UK, de to business demands they are now seeking a Sales Manager or Head of Sales who has a strong recruitment background in the Perms sector. Ideally they are seeking an individual who has a proven successful record within either the FMCG, Food Manufacturing, IT or Professional Executive markets. The role: Reporting to the Director of Perms, the successful candidate is responsible for winning new business and growing revenues, within Perms in any of the above sectors and related commercial recruitment. This role can be homebased or hybrid What success looks like: Generate a continuous flow of placeable jobs from new and existing clients. Exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales revenue and KPI targets. Build long term business relationships with clients to ensure repeat business Responsibilities: Utilise lead generation processes and your own research, to build and convert a pipeline of prospective clients within the FMCG, Food Manufacturing, IT or Professional Executive markets Research and identify emerging markets. Prioritise outbound business development with a phone first approach, along-with video, face-to-face, LinkedIn and email. Sell contingent, exclusive and retained recruitment services to clients. Ensure an exclusive or retained first approach. Build long term and trusted client relationships. Develop a professional questioning and closing style with clients. Create successful sales initiatives to meet and exceed targets. Negotiate high fees with clients and improve average placement fee Increase client lifetime value by developing high volume, repeatable client business. Manage and convert inbound leads. Acquire an in-depth knowledge of our terms of business, recruitment services and recruitment insights. Convey knowledge to clients. * Lead client briefs and qualify jobs to ensure all information and client commitment is obtained. * Load detailed job and company information into CRM * Accurately document, track and monitor all client and job activity in CRM * Accurately record ToBs sent, agreed fees and client data into CRFM * Brief and work closely with the delivery team to ensure suitable candidates are sourced quickly. * Work closely with my clients branches and perm teams across the business * Manage client relationships and manage expectations * Present recruitment solutions at board level * Client account management * Report to the Perms Director * Obtain client testimonials and referrals. * Research and recommend networking opportunities. * Represent our client at events. * Develop strong internal working relationships. * Contribute to a sales strategy as required. Person specification Essential Driven to exceed targets and be a top performer. Proven success of exceeding targets. B2B sales/recruitment experience within perms ideally within the FMCG, IT, Food Manufacturing or Professional Executive sectors * Able to win people over at all levels of seniority. * Strong closing and negotiating skills. * Conversational and written sales skills. * Customer first approach. * High degree of emotional intelligence. * Solid research and planning skills. * Keen interest in the business world. * Self-motivated and self-managing * Demonstrates confidence and tenacityAligned to company values.
