Hales Group is seeking a Head of People&Talent to join our client near Royston, on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with proven experience as a HR generalist, looking to join an exciting, well– established business. The ideal individual will possess strong senior stakeholder capabilities and organisational abilities, in order to contribute to an expanding business.   Head of People&Talent 22.5 Hours per week Permanent Salary:£45,000- £50,000 FTE Location: near Royston.   Key responsibilities As a Head of People&Talent your responsibilities will include (but not limited to) : Develop and implement HR Strategics and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes in legislation that may affect the organisation. Ensure employment law, HR Policy, best practice and workforce development. Ensure internal HR Communications, including ensuring any issues initiatives and programmes are well planned, relevant, timely and adhere to company’s values. Identify HR Trends so that attention can be directed to key issues and resources. Manage Diversity, equity and inclusion values and practices within the company. Oversee the recruitment process from end to end, from job postings to conducting interviews. Manage employee training, onboarding and offboarding.   Key Skills As the Head of People and Talent our client is looking for an individual with the following skills: Proven HR Generalist experience of 3-5 years. Exceptional organisational&communication skills, alongside proven leadership capabilities and solid knowledge of employment legislation and its applications. Experienced in developing and supporting line managers through change. An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial. CIPD Qualified Ability to work under own autonomy. Proficiency in HRIS systems such as PeopleHR.
