This company is a well established software house which specialises in creating software for the HR and payroll sector. This company is embarking on an exciting growth phase and are looking to boost their existing development teams to focus on  designing developing, testing and implementing new functionality and integrating AI capabilities into their existing product suite. Note: This role is offered as a 6 month fixed term contract initially. The HQ is in Newcastle, however the role is fully remote with the odd day required in office ( fully expensed and roughly 1-2 days a year)  Salary will be dependent on experience but likely to be in the region of £38-48k.The client is looking to hire candidates with a relevant degree and an obvious keen interest in AI- if you have worked within a software role that has had some AI involved in it then that's ideal!  Ideally you will have strong OOP skills - they work with C# but will consider candidates with Java as well.  Any of the following would be of great interest: , Test Automation, vector, pinecone  semantic kernel, RAG, Agentic AI, ,
