The role is based at a specialist secondary provision in Weston-super-Mare for pupilsaged 11-16 years, who struggle with social-emotional mental health (SEMH), and who find attending mainstream education a challenge. This role can be challenging, as the children may have other additional needs, such as ADHD and Autism. You will need to be experienced in supporting children with avariety of needs, have strong behaviour and classroom management skills, and have experience in delivering the national curriculum, including literacy, numeracy and science.  Whilst this may be a challenging role, it can also be very rewarding, seeing the children develop and progress with the right support in place.
