Export and Office Admin Assistant
Slinfold, West Sussex, RH13 0RN
* Part time, Monday – Friday (20 hours per week)
* Permanent position 9:30am – 1:30pm
* £13 per hour

F C Lane Electronics, established in 1966, is the UK’s leading distributor of electrical connector products, serving sectors such as military, aerospace, defence, motorsport, and industrial. Operating from our Slinfold Lodge base, we proudly distribute high-quality products from renowned manufacturers and our in-house brand, Weald Electronics Ltd.
The Role
This part-time position involves providing accurate and timely support for export order processing, courier bookings, and general office tasks. You’ll work closely with the Accounts team, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction. The role is dynamic, requiring adaptability based on daily export volumes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Export Order Processing: Prepare export invoices, arrange courier bookings (e.g., FedEx, DHL, UPS), calculate carriage charges, and provide customer tracking and payment links.
* Export Documentation: Maintain export procedures and organise related documents.
* Accounts Support: Verify and input supplier invoices, and assist in setting up new accounts.
* General Office Duties: Handle calls, administrative tasks, and provide cover during absences.
* Ad-Hoc Support: Perform additional tasks to ensure smooth departmental operations.
