JOB TITLE: Credit Control Manager LOCATION: Exeter SALARY:£37,000 per annum HOURS: 37.5 hours Monday-Friday BENEFITS: 30 days holiday including Bank Holidays, company pension scheme, employee discounts, free onsite parking, cycle to work scheme, free onsite gym, and many social events! THE ROLE: Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Credit Control Manager with proven leadership skills to join their team. As the Credit Control Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the department, helping to shape and implement the company's credit control strategy. If you are a detail-oriented individual who works in a collaborative style with excellent communication and analytical skills, this is a great opportunity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, implement, and manage credit control policies and procedures Assess and evaluate new and existing customers credit applications Monitor and manage overdue accounts, ensuring timely collection Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve billing and payment discrepancies Provide accurate and timely reporting on credit control activities Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimise cash flow Stay updated with industry regulations and best practises Provide guidance and mentorship tocredit control team, workload monitoring championing development, and continuous skill and career advancementSKILLS&EXPERIENCE: Proven experience in credit control management Strong understanding of accounting principles and credit control processes Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proficient IT user Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment Results-driven with a proactive approach to achieving targets Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent time management and organisational skillsTO APPLY: If this sounds like you or you would like to find out more please either apply online, email your CV to or call (phone number removed) to speak to Sarah and discuss the role in more detail.
