Your background as a Manufacturing Engineer: * Previous experience of working within a Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer / Production or similar role focussed on the optimisation of manufacturing processes. * Experience of working in a low or medium-volume production environment is preferred. * Knowledge and experience of recognised continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen etc... would be advantageous. * You are likely to hold a professional qualification in a manufacturing engineering, production engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or similar discipline. Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities: * Designing, implementing, and optimising manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. * Lead manufacturing projects, from initial planning to execution and evaluation. * Continuous improvement e.g. Lean, Kaizen etc….* Quality control and assurance to company and industry standards. * Specify and source manufacturing equipment, tooling, and materials. * You will work in close collaboration with Design Engineers, Production Teams, and other areas of the business to improve manufacturing systems and processes.
