The focus will be Transport projects, delivering these projects is critical and the successful candidate will have a real opportunity to make a difference. Key responsibilities for the Finance Manager (Capital) are; Supporting the Project Managers to develop forecasts to ensure the spend is deliverable Managing the claim process so that grant claims are processed on time Develop and support the Revenue and Capital Budgets Knowledge of effective Budget Preparation and Monitoring General Accounting principles understanding. The Ideal candidate for the Finance Manager (Capital) will have; Fully Qualified Accountant Local Authority Capital Accounting experience Transport Project experience Stakeholder Management experience Financial Systems and Excel experience.
