Our client is a very successful construction company and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the day to day management and control of accounting, payroll, HMRC requirements as well as purchase and sales ledger functions. This opportunity will provide you with excellent long term career progression and increased earnings potential. The Role: Your duties as the Finance Manager will include but is not limited to the following; Effective management and control of debtors and creditors (sales&purchase ledger) Staff payroll and subcontractors. Processing auto enrolment pensions, uploading files to pension portals and corresponding with pension providers Effective management&control of PAYE, NI and CIS contributions Control all HMRC related requirements and payments Bank reconciliation, petty cash, accruals, payments Produce financial reports on weekly monthly basis as requiredCandidate: You will have at least 3 years finance control&payroll experience ideally with some exposure to the construction industry. Applicants who hold recognised accountancy qualification will have advantage but not essential. You will have excellent written and verbal communications skills and you will be fully conversant with SAGE accounting software and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
