Package: * Hourly Rate:£13.37 (DOE) * Working Hours: Dayshift – 08:00am – 17:00pm (Mon-Thu), 08:00am – 13:00pm (Fri) * Benefits: * Secure and permanent role * Career growth and development opportunities * Comprehensive health and safety policies * Free onsite parking Key Responsibilities: * Set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture components to customer and drawing specifications. * Maximise stock utilisation and minimise waste by following cutting patterns and operational guidelines. * Maintain accurate documentation, including computer-based stock control systems. * Perform quality inspections to ensure full conformance to order requirements. * Collaborate with team members to promote safe working practices and maintain a clean, tidy work environment. * Support continuous improvement processes to enhance efficiency and minimise waste.* Train and mentor other operatives as required. Requirements: * Experience in CNC milling machine setup and operation. * Ability to read and interpret cutting patterns and engineering drawings. * Familiarity with material handling and adherence to health and safety regulations. * Self-motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented. * Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes. * (Desirable) Experience with machine maintenance and current counterbalance mechanical handling license.
