At Big Ant Recruitment, we're excited to work with our client, a thriving accountancy practice that’s on the lookout for their next Client Account Manager. This growing practice prides itself on delivering a wide range of accounting and business support services while fostering a supportive, collaborative environment for its team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on autonomy, enjoys building and maintaining strong client relationships, and is ready for a hands-on position with scope to mentor and develop junior team members. Duties and Responsibilities As a Client Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for: * Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently. * Preparing and reviewing: * VAT Returns * Personal Tax Returns * Annual Accounts * Company Tax Returns (CT600s) * Directors' Tax Returns * Holding client meetings to review and discuss their requirements. * Reviewing client services and updating billing where necessary. * Liaising with assistants to ensure deadlines are met. * General office and staff management when required. * Promoting the firm by attending networking events. *Liaising with directors on client issues and queries. Skills and Experience Required * Qualifications: * AAT Level 3/4 qualified or currently studying. Alternatively, substantial relevant experience will be considered. * Experience: * At least 5 years of experience working in an accountancy practice. * Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Free Agent. * Proficiency in CRM systems. * Personal Qualities: * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. * A team player who thrives in a close-knit, collaborative environment.
