Child Law Legal Assistant Our client a multi- office law firm , providing a first class service to people and businesses throughout Essex. Are seeking a detailed -orientated experienced Child Law Legal Assistant to join their expanding Family department with mainly public law cases. The Role * Working within the child law team dealing mainly with public law cases * Using digital dictation system to produce correspondence related to family maters * Responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the solicitor’s day to day activities * Liaising with local authorities, solicitors , Barristers, courts and guardians * Processing applications, preparing court bundles * Lodging documents, preparing short documents i.e. position statements and processing LLA online claims * Meeting with clients taking notes * Diary management * General administration ,including filing ,photocopying, faxing and scanning The Candidate * Ideally you will be an experienced child law legal assistant, Family paralegal or Family Legal Secretary * Experience with case management * Experienced with processing LAA online claims * Strong IT Skills including Microsoft Word, Excel ,Outlook * Excellent communication skills and a sympathetic ear * Hours Monday to Friday 9am- 5.30pm * Pleasant working environment * Free parking Apply Now.
