We currently have a position in a special educational needs school based in Pentre. This role requires an individual who is highly enthusiastic and motivated by the opportunity to make a difference and impact these children’s lives. The school are looking for an individual who is passionate Ideally the candidate will have had experience and a good understanding of working with pupils who have severe learning difficulties. Any additional qualifications or knowledge is most definitely desirable but it not essential. It is a requirement of this role that an enhanced DBS check will be requiredprior to starting this role. Responsibilities: Confident in being able to work on a 1:1 basis or a small group with children with a range of different needs.    Support pupil with their physical and personal care needs.    Be able to promote a positive environment ensuring an inclusive learning atmosphere.    Encourage and promote positive behaviour alongside positive relationships with students, parents and carers.    Promote independence and care where required.    Works well as part of a team.    The ability to remain calm when faced with pressured situations.    Willingnessto learn and develop their skills and knowledge to meet the needs of the children.
