Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and manage various mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent time management skills, and a thorough understanding of project management principles. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities * Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. * Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. * Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. * Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to achieve objectives. * Conduct regular meetings with team members to review project status and address any issues that arise. * Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. * Utilise Civil 3D software for design and analysis as required in project execution. Experience * Proven experience as a Project Manager in the mechanical engineering field or related industry. * Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. * Proficiency in Civil 3D is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is important. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels. * A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is desirable but not mandatory depending on experience.
