Our client a leading Chemicals Manufacturing Business are currently looking to recruit an Apprentice Trained Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their Electrical Engineering Team. This is a days-based position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities for the position will include: Electrical preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial manufacturing environment Electrical plant installation and modification Statutory inspections The use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems Use and interpret equipment drawings, manuals and other technical information to assist with all works Work in accordance with the company safe systems of work and permit to work systems Electrical Maintenance Technician - Requirements Educated to a minimum City&Guilds level 3 or similar in a practical Electrical discipline Ideally hold a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulation would be beneficial CompEx qualification would be extremely beneficial (Ex01-04)&(Ex05-06) Previous experience of working within a COMAH registered facility would be highly desirable Strong understanding of ATEX requirements would be beneficial This is an excellent opportunity to join an established manufacturing business with the opportunity for career development via both internal and external training.
