Bid Manager
Brentwood - Hybrid£50,000 - £70,000 + bonus scheme
Are you an experienced Bid Manager with a strong background in social housing and local authority sectors?
We are working with a leading provider of social housing and services for local authorities. They are dedicated to improving communities and enhancing thelives of residents through innovative and sustainable housing solutions. As they continue to grow, they are seeking highly skilled Bid Managers to join their team.
You will be responsible for:
Planning, production and delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer definedtimeframes using InDesign and Microsoft Word.
Maintaining a network of subject matter experts to improve/create content where required.
Identify and re-work existing pre-written content to suit proposal requirements.
Identify areas where new content needs to be obtained and written.
Coordinate proposal input, edit and review from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from pre-construction, marketing, commercial, and delivery.
Champion document management and change control best practices.
Write questions for PQQ submissions and occasional public sector ITTs.
Provide advice on flow, language and grammar to content owners.
Consolidate and edit sections, answers and / or documents developed by others team members into the required tender format.
Bid library management and collation of CV and Case Study information.
Your skills and expertise:
Over 10 years of experience in bid writing and design, specifically within the social housing and local authority sectors.
Exceptional writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and persuasive content.
Strong design skills, with proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
Proven track record of winning bids and securing contracts.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
