Band 6 Occupational Therapist Salary: Up to£42,500 40 hours per week   Our client, a leading provider of inpatient mental health services, is looking for a skilled and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their team. You will be a key player in ensuring that each individual receives the support they need to lead a fulfilling life while in care.   Requirements for this role: Qualifications: Occupational Therapy (BSc or equivalent) qualification and current registration HCPC. Further postgraduate training or experience in working with individuals with complex mental health needs and learning disabilities is desirable. Experience: Significant experience in Occupational Therapy, preferably in a secure care, mental health, or similar setting.Proven ability to assess and treat occupational dysfunction and develop person-centred interventions. Experience in working independently, managing a diverse caseload, and prioritizing workloads. Working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care and promote recovery. Providing clinical and managerial supervision to junior members of staff. Sharing leadership responsibilities and contribute to the wider Occupational Therapy provision. Participating in the ongoing development of Occupational Therapy services across the hospital.
