About the Role: As a Technical Service Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting customers across the UK, ensuring their powder coating systems operate at peak performance. This role requires a mix of technical expertise and customer service skills, as you will provide on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, training, and system upgrades. Key Responsibilities: Provide on-site technical support, diagnosis, and maintenance for industrial powder coating systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues, using advanced skills to diagnose and resolve faults in control systems. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to maximize system efficiency. Develop expertise in powder coating applications and provide customer training on best practices. Carry out system upgrades, modifications, and repairs to improve equipment performance. Build strong relationships with customers, delivering high-quality service and support. Collaborate with internal teams, including technical support, sales, and engineering, to optimize service delivery.Skills and Experience Required:Essential: Electrical qualification (Electrical Engineer, Electrical Technician, or minimum City&Guilds qualification). Experience in a field service role within an industrial or technical environment. Strong electrical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills. Excellent customer service and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively. Understanding of electrical and pneumatic systems related to industrial machinery. Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare reports.Desirable: Experience with industrial controls and automation systems.
