IT Risk and Compliance Coordinator Location: London Hours of work: 37.5 Contract Type: Permanent The IT Risk and Compliance Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the UK&Ireland organisation in managing IT-related risks and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This is a new role within the business, offering the opportunity to get involved with different projects within a large, complex organisation. Job Description This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive approach, assisting in the development and implementation of strategies that protect digital assets and maintain the integrity of IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security, risk management, and regulatory compliance, contributing to the overall resilience and effectiveness of ISS’s IT operations. Key Responsibilities * Ensure compliance with IT regulations, standards, and policies (ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA) * Implement and maintain IT General Controls for system security * Monitor and report compliance status to senior management * Coordinate IT team activitiesfor internal and external audits * Standardise and maintain IT process documentation * Conduct compliance assessments and audits * Support IT demand process for new solution onboarding and assurance * Assist in managing IT risk framework for UK&Ireland * Identify, assess, and mitigate IT risks, maintaining the risk register * Align risk management practices with global and local teams * Develop and monitor security policies and procedures * Support vulnerability management and penetration test remediation * Assist in responding to Global SOC incidents for UK-related issues Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field * Preferred certifications: CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, ITIL, MoR * Experience in IT risk management and compliance in global organisations * Strong knowledge of IT regulations, standards, and best practices * Expertise in IT General Controls and Information Security Management Systems * Familiarity with ITIL, GDPR, ISO27001, PCI, NIS2, and DORA * Proficiency in risk management tools like OneTrust * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills * Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented * Fluent in written and spoken
