Job Description

Are you ready to take the lead on something brand new?  This role as Business Development Manager, is a national role, which would require cover of parts of the UK and occasional travel to Ireland.    This is more than just a sales role; it’s an opportunity to launch a product into the UK market for a business with a strong global presence buta limited existing UK footprint.   Backed by an established client base, you’ll have warm leads to explore, but success in this role will come down to your ability to hunt for new business and establish this product as a go-to solution in the industry.   What you’ll be doing: Launching something new: You’ll be at the forefront of introducing a brand-new product range into the UK, working closely with manufacturers and distributors to establish its place in the market.   Driving new business:  You know it's all about hunting for opportunities, securing new clients, and growingthe customer base. While there will be existing relationships to tap into, this is a role for someone who thrives on opening new doors.   Managing your own schedule:  You’ll be out on the road most days, meeting decision-makers, attending expos, and making an impact where it counts.   Building relationships:  Whether it’s negotiating deals or developing long-term partnerships, your ability to connect with key players in manufacturing and distribution will be key.   What you’ll bring as Business Development Manager.      A track record of sales success in manufacturing, distribution, or merchant environments.      The ability to sell into a technical environment, this isn’t just about shifting products; it’s about positioning a solution and understanding client challenges.      Self-sufficiency&drive: this is a role for someone who enjoys autonomy, can manage their time effectively, and knows how to get results.  What’s in it for you as Business Development Manager. The chance to make your mark: You’ll be the driving force behind this product’s success in the UK, with full support from a leadership team that believes in rewarding hard work.      A competitive package: £50-55k + up to £14k commission + a fully expensed company car (electric option available), private healthcare, pension, iPhone, laptop, and tablet.      Flexibility&independence: You’ll have the freedom to shape your own approach while being part of an ambitious, forward-thinking company.   If this Business Development Manager role sounds like your next step, let’s talk.
