Interviewer: Hello, thank you for coming in today. Can you please introduce yourself and tell us a little about your background?

Candidate Answer: I would conduct trend analysis and regression analysis to identify any correlation between the decrease in sales revenue and other factors such as changes in price, consumer behavior or competitive landscape. I would also conduct a break-even analysis to identify any fixed costs that could potentially contribute to the decrease in sales revenue.
2. Scenario: A customer has reported an issue with a product, how would you go about investigating and resolving the issue?
Candidate Answer: I would first investigate the issue by gathering details about the product and the customer’s experience with it. I would then analyze any relevant data such as sales figures, customer feedback and product reviews to identify any patterns or underlying issues. I would then work with the relevant teams such as product development and customer service to resolve the issue and implement preventative measures to avoid similar issues in the future.
3. Scenario: A company is considering expanding their operations to a new market, what factors would you consider in your analysis of the opportunity?
Candidate Answer: I would conduct a market analysis to understand the size of the market, the competition, and the target customer demographic. I would also consider any potential legal and regulatory barriers to entry, any cultural or language considerations and logistics such as transportation and distribution. Additionally, I would analyze any financial data such as projected revenue and profit margins to determine the potential return on investment.
4. Scenario: A company is considering implementing a new technology system, what data analysis methods would you use to evaluate the potential impact and determine the feasibility of the implementation?
Candidate Answer: I would conduct a cost-benefit analysis to evaluate the potential financial impact of the new technology system.
