**DESCRIPTION** **Key Responsibilities:** **Managerial Responsibilities (30%):** + **Primary Sales:** Drive primary sales efforts to meet and exceed sales targets. + **Secondary Sales:** Manage secondary sales through retail, fleet, and mechanics channels. + **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment with business goals and strategies. + **Customer Engagement:** Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. **General Professional Practice (GPP) Responsibilities (70%):** + **Reporting:** + Consolidate and distribute sales reports where tasks are repetitive and well-documented. + Gather and consolidate data from others using existing templates and provide forecasting input. + **System Administration:** + Execute repetitive and ad-hoc tasks on systems and tools (e.g., Salesforce, WWSPS, BMS, Portal). + Periodically review user-entered data on systems to ensure completeness. + **Data Analyses (Internal&External):** + Conduct ad-hoc and repetitive analyses on external sources (e.g., Polk, Dodge, RigDig). + Research assigned opportunities through secondary research, compile and share findings. + Compile relevant competitive data from various resources. + Conduct internal sales analyses (e.g., variances, projections, costing, bundling) where tasks are well-documented. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **Competencies:** + **Action Oriented:** Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm. + **Collaborates:** Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. + **Communicates Effectively:** Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. + **Self-Development:** Actively seeking new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels. + **Data Analytics:** Discovering, interpreting, and communicating qualitative and quantitative data; determining conclusions relying on business or functional frameworks; applying statistics, data validity, data visualization, and problem-solving approaches to extract meaningful patterns and business insights; presenting conclusions and outcomes that enable data-driven business decisions. + **Project Schedule Management:** Managing the planned schedule using recommended tools and processes to drive completion within the agreed timeline. + **Adapts to Target Audience:** Explaining complex topics (e.g., significant technical data, subject matter expertise) in a way that the target audience (e.g., sales professionals, customers, training vendors) can understand, retain, and use the information. + **Integrates Customer Perspective:** Incorporating an understanding of the customers' perspective on our products and sales efforts to develop sales content that improves our ability to meet their needs and increase revenue. + **Values Differences:** Recognizing the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization. **Qualifications:** + **Education, Licenses, Certifications:** + High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. + This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Experience:** + Requires some work experience and intermediate-level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience. **Job** Sales **Organization** Cummins Inc. **Role Category** Hybrid **Job Type** Office **ReqID** 2408576 **Relocation Package** No
