We are currently seeking a Splunk Systems Integration Specialist to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN). he Splunk Administrator must be able to perform tasks and to use the Splunk software.  After initial configuration, a Splunk Administrator will need to perform backups, define alerts and manage search jobs.  The Splunk Administrator must understand how to install and upgrade Splunk Enterprise.  The configuration of data from external sources and the enhancement of data an important skill.  The Splunk Administrator will manage indexes, indexers and clusters of indexers.  The Splunk Administrator is responsible for scaling platform deployments, securing Splunk Enterprise, troubleshooting and documenting. 1. Build and optimize a large-scale Splunk infrastructure. 2. Administering Splunk and Splunk Apps to include developing new or extending existing Apps to perform specialized functionality. 3. Design and implement solutions to address business problems understanding the Splunk architecture requirements for scalability, security, and performance. 4. Implementing and administering Splunk components. 5. Manage Splunk access controls, users and role-based access control and assigning then to LDAP security groups. 6. Building and maintain Splunk components (indexer, forwarder, search head) 7. Experience on SPL language also create Alert and report. 8. Integrate Splunk best practices (apps, add-ons, searches, etc.) 9. Create new indexes and provide data retention policies. 10. Architecting and developing the Splunk based SIEM solution, Log searching and Reporting, Knowledge Objects, Administration, Add-Ons, Dashboards, and Forwarder Management. 11. Should have knowledge on Standard Operating Procedures and troubleshooting in SPLUNK. 12. Should have knowledge on install and upgrade SPLUNK instances and set up the same. 13. Experience using regex to develop custom sourcetypes and field extractions 14. Experience with onboarding custom application logs. 15. Experience on creating and modifying the configuration files props.conf, transforms.conf, output.conf, inputs.conf, server.conf, indexes.conf and limits.conf and deploying them to remote machines. 16. experience in troubleshooting Splunk platform and OS (Linux and Windows). 17. Experience on Splunk admin activities like index creation, Splunk App upgrades and server class changes. 18. Managing the Splunk buckets in index (hot, warm, cold, frozen/thawed). 19. Should have knowledge of Linux Operating system.
