**DESCRIPTION** **Job Summary:** The IT Technical Analyst - Senior provides application or infrastructure technical expertise, analysis, and specifications for IT systems to meet business requirements in alignment with IT architecture policies and standards. The role involves translating requirements into technical specifications, creating detailed solution designs, coordinating construction, installation, configuration, and testing of IT systems, and troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Technical Specifications:** Develop and manage technical specifications for creating applications, infrastructure, or complete solutions. + **Solution Analysis:** Evaluate the technical fit and feasibility of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products versus custom-built solutions. + **Solution Design:** Deliver high-level and detailed designs for applications, infrastructure, interfaces, conversions, extensions, reports, and workflows, ensuring adherence to performance, security, scalability, and maintainability requirements. + **Collaboration:** Work closely with IT technical service providers and infrastructure teams to ensure work packages meet specifications in quality, schedule, cost, and performance. + **Review and Validation:** Participate in design and code reviews to ensure alignment with specifications and coding standards. + **Reusability:** Leverage reusable components to reduce costs and delivery time while promoting efficiency through automation in build and deploy processes. + **Testing and Support:** Assist in test strategies, master test plans, and level 3 support for critical issues.
