**DESCRIPTION** **Key Responsibilities:** + **Leading Health&Safety** : Lead health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with HSE regulations, including DISH, MPCB, PESO, and fire safety. + **HSE KPIs and A3 Initiatives** : Design, develop, and implement HSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and A3 initiatives, including Industry 4.0 digitalization. + **Incident Investigation** : Conduct incident investigations, derive Corrective Action Requests (CAR) and Preventive Action Requests (PAR), and advise the leadership team. + **Contractor Safety and High-Risk Management** : Manage contractor safety, high-risk HSE projects, and ensure effective risk management. + **HSEMS, Audits, and Trainings** : Develop and maintain the Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (HSEMS), conduct audits, and provide training to develop the HSE team. + **Fire Safety Management** : Oversee fire safety management, ensure periodical compliance, and manage Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans (EPRP). + **Business Continuity Planning (BCP)** : Manage property loss prevention and business continuity planning. + **HSE CAPEX and OPEX** : Handle HSE capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operational expenditures (OPEX). **RESPONSIBILITIES** **Competencies:** + **Balances Stakeholders** : Anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders. + **Collaborates** : Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. + **Courage** : Stepping up to address difficult issues, saying what needs to be said. + **Drives Engagement** : Creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives. + **Manages Conflict** : Handling conflict situations effectively, with a minimum of noise. + **Optimizes Work Processes** : Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement. + **HSE Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis** : Conduct quality, evidence-based investigations with accurate root cause analysis, resulting in effective corrective actions and accurate reporting. + **HSE Management Systems** : Interpret and apply international standards to achieve and maintain an effective management system and external certification. + **Implementation of Risk Controls** : Select and implement risk control methods to protect people by reducing overall risks to as low as reasonably practicable. + **Influence HSE Culture** : Champion positive health and safety behaviors by influencing leaders and employees. + **Regulatory Compliance Management** : Identify, interpret, and manage legal and other requirements to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards. + **Measurement and Evaluation of HSE Performance** : Collect and analyze data to evaluate performance trends, deliver improvement goals, and protect employees and the environment. + **Risk Assessment** : Evaluate hazards within the work environment and prioritize risk, enabling the selection of control measures that reduce risk as low as reasonably practicable. + **Training Delivery** : Instruct learners in a manner that engages and adjusts to individual and group needs, resulting in knowledge, skills, and abilities that can be applied on the job. + **Values Differences** : Recognizing the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization. **Education, Licenses, Certifications:** + **Degree Requirement** : Bachelor's/B-Tech degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in the HSE field. + **Mandatory Certifications** : ADIS from CLI/RLI/NSO approved by MSBTE/DGFASLI, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015 - Lead Auditor from recognized certification bodies. + **Preferred Certifications** : NEBOSH IGC, Fire Safety, BRSR, Energy Auditors. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Experience:** **Experience Level** : Intermediate level of experience required, including experience in the application of industrial safety standards and implementation of risk controls.
