About the Role: The Local General Purchasing Manager is the end-to-end incharge for managing Country Purchasing Activities for GP Main Responsibilities: SUPPORT DEFINE REGION GENERAL PROCUREMENT PLAN & DEMAND MGMT Analyze and monitor Market trends, Suppliers concentrations and Disruptive Innovations Identify Sourcing opportunities and evaluate potential internal requests synergies according to Category Strategy and guidelines defined at Central Level EXECUTE STRATEGIC SOURCING Execute strategic sourcing activities for Local Categories in line with the Group category management strategy Manage implementation of strategic procurement projects DAY TO DAY PROCUREMENT ACTIVITIES Managing Day to Day PR as generated in SAP. Scouting Suppliers within the Ferrero Empaneled List and intoducing New Suppliers (as needed) Floating RFQs for various requirements and interacting with respective stakeholders for any technical inputs. Evaluating Techno-commercial Proposal and shortlisting of vendors. Aligning the Scope of Work and negotiating the commercials Terms and Conditions. Preparation of Commercial Comparative analysis and seek related approvals (as required) as per DOA. Issuance of Purchase Order and Monitoring the vendor delivery performance. Coordinate with Supplier and Stakeholder for any Escalation Management. Manage contracts, measure and improve their utilization HANDLE PROCUREMENT SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP Define Supplier Segmentation Model and Framework to define relationship type to set-up with key suppliers Build supplier relationships that generate value for both Ferrero and the suppliers over time. MANAGE PEOPLE & COMPETENCIES Coach and develop subordinates to achieve full potential and prepare for succession PERFORM MASTER DATA MGMT. Responsible for requiring new suppliers to be added or existing suppliers to be blocked Support in collection of Supplier Data and communicate those data to the team in charge of uploading them in  the system MANAGE PROCESS GOVERNANCE AND PERFORMANCE Ensure Process Governance involving all relevant stakeholders Achieve targets for all GP Categories Assisting Auditors for any company/department related Audits.   Who we are looking for: University Degree (Engineering, Business Administration or similar)  Master or MBA is an asset. 10+ years of experience working in procurement. Successful track record and development potential Working experience in a cross-cultural environment and in a matrix organization preferable SAP (MS Office (Power Point, Excel))experience is must.
