What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team? We are seeking a skilled and expert from Network and Information Security segment to join its growing Global Information Security organization. This position requires in-depth experience and knowledge of Cyber Security Technology with specialisation in firewalls. The successful candidate will get an opportunity to work on cybersecurity technologies. Key responsibilities includes but not limited to network & security system management for all Colgate manufacturing locations & cloud, investigating network & security problems with priority to minimize business disruption. The individual should be experienced in security architecture, design, engineering and supporting network & security configurations over hybrid environments that includes on-premise and public clouds, such as GCP. You are a functional expert Understand the Colgate architecture and leverage Palo Alto Firewall / Panorama technology standards for supporting business functionalities and project implementation activities Proficiency in handling Palo Alto configurations and advance diagnostic investigation Keep the Firewall equipment up to date with right security patches and plan regular maintenance to keep them up and running Prepare detailed network specifications, including diagrams, equipment configurations with defined standards Perform critical thinking and problem solving techniques to isolate and diagnose Performance & Reliability issues Proactive monitor and analyze landscape performance to anticipate problems and take corrective actions Expertise in reviewing configurations and provide suggestions as part of continuous improvement initiatives You connect the dots - Fulfill business requirements within global SLA Use right IT project management guidelines to align with governance practices Able to analyze root cause, see larger picture while handling broader issues / threats You are a collaborator - Collaborate with business / functional team, develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, network testing and implementation of project Mentor and coach junior network resources You are an innovator - Conduct performance tuning to improve network performance over multiple business processes Stay updated with the innovative tech and adapt to these changes by self-learning and evaluate how they can add new value to the business What you’ll need…(Required) Engineering Graduate with 3 to 5 years of experience in Network and Security area Hands on experience on Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama Proficient in administering and configuring Palo Alto Firewalls Solid grasp in networking principles like routing & switching Solid grasp in security principles Professional certification in CCNA and PCNSE Good interpersonal skills Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically Ability to investigate and identify root cause Should be flexible and adaptable to new technologies What you’ll need…(Preferred) Certification in Cybersecurity and Splunk   Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Achieving our purpose starts with our people — ensuring our workforce represents the people and communities we serve —and creating an environment where our people feel they belong; where we can be our authentic selves, feel treated with respect and have the support of leadership to impact the business in a meaningful way.
