**DESCRIPTION** **Key Responsibilities:** Maintains local health and safety policies and procedures. Maintains local regulatory health and safety requirements. Maintains confidentiality and appropriate recordkeeping standards in line with corporate data protection and retention requirements. Builds an understanding of HSE culture and apply to business processes. Stops work and immediately reports any major injury hazards. Reports any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard. Communicates effectively to create safety awareness. Tracks and reports required monthly metrics to the enterprise incident management system. Builds and maintains site health and safety training content. Coordinates and assists in delivery of health and safety training programs. Participates in health and safety inspection and audit programs. Maintains training records and assist in trends analysis. Provides appropriate data reports as requested and assist in trends analysis. Supports health, safety and wellness initiatives. Coordinates local employee engagement initiatives to drive an interdependent culture. Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures. Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures. Performs quality checks. Identifies and controls non-conforming material. A College, University or equivalent degree in Industrial Safety or related field preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft office applications required. **Experience:** Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Skills Required:-** This role includes responsibility of handling plant establishment, execution and construction activities in view of HSE requirements. Minimum 3-4 years of HSE experience is required post completion Engineering Diploma. For engineering degree graduates, 1-2 years of HSE experience post completion of degree is required. ADIS (advance diploma in Industrial safety) or NICMAR PGP is mandatory. ISO45001 and ISO14001 management system standard knowledge is required.
