**DESCRIPTION** **Although the role category specified in the GPP is Hybrid, the requirement is for Onsite.** **Key Responsibilities:** + Investigate Value Package Introduction (VPI) program or field-based issues, identify causal mechanisms, recommend solutions, and document results under the guidance of senior team members. + Support the execution of design processes, including Critical Design Decisions, System Design and Validation Considerations, Design Reviews, and tools like iDFMEA, DVA, GD&T, CREO, and ANSYS Workbench. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop design concepts and ensure they meet corporate and customer requirements. + Participate in design decision-making, concept optimization, and specification creation, considering customer needs and lifecycle requirements. + Own problem resolution for moderately complex components, products, and systems, while gradually taking on more responsibility as experience is gained. + Coordinate and direct work among technicians or student employees to assist in product development. + Contribute to team goals and improve work processes and systems to enhance design quality. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **Qualifications&Competencies:** + **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate STEM field (Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related disciplines).
