We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data systems and pipelines. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, data warehousing, and the ability to work with various data storage solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable and robust data architecture solutions to meet business requirements. Develop data models and schema designs for data warehousing and analytics Create and maintain efficient ETL processes to ensure reliable data integration from various sources. Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability. Build and manage data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow across the organization. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to maintain data integrity and availability. Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers Implement and enforce data governance and data quality standards. Conduct regular data quality assessments and implement corrective measures as needed Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and data science. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve data engineering practices. Professional Qualification & Experience: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Extensive experience with ETL tools and processes. Strong knowledge of SQL and database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server). Hands-on experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services. Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery What We’re Looking for: Minimum Qualifications- Any Graduate/Postgraduate with 8-10 years of relevant experience Analytics, financial modeling, and reporting skills Experience working with visualization and ETL tools. Strong communication skill is desired. Knowledge in Statistics will be an added advantage. Relevant experience in multinational company / Healthcare Industry / manufacturing set up in Management Reporting carries weightage.
