About the Role We are looking for a QE Lead to drive quality engineering initiatives, lead automation strategies, and mentor a team of quality engineers. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish robust testing frameworks, implement best practices, and ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: + Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. + Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, incorporating both automated and manual testing to ensure high-quality software delivery. + Drive test automation initiatives, leveraging frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber BDD, and Hybrid frameworks for web and API automation. + Independently understand, configure, and enhance automation framework components. + Utilize Postman, Testfully, SOAP UI, Swagger UI, and Rest Assured for API functional testing. + Work in Agile environments, ensuring quality integration with tools such as HP ALM and Tableau. + Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices into testing workflows. + Define quality metrics and KPIs, analyze trends, and provide regular reports to senior management on quality performance. + Ensure effective test/defect management using Zephyr, JIRA, ALM, and ADO. + Advocate for and implement automated testing practices to improve efficiency and coverage. + Identify quality risks early in the development process and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. + Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team and across the organization. + Provide technical guidance and identify upskilling opportunities to enhance team capabilities. Preferred Skills: + Strong expertise in Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting. + Hands-on experience with Mobile Cloud tools such as Perfecto Mobile, Sauce Labs, Experitest, or SeeTest. + Knowledge of performance, security, and usability testing methodologies. + Experience in mobile testing/automation is a plus. Familiarity with AI-driven test automation tools is an added advantage. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. + 8+ years of experience in quality engineering, test automation, and software testing. + Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum methodologies, and QA best practices. + Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with a proactive approach to collaboration.
