Job Duties and Qualifications Under broad direction, designs, codes, tests, trouble-shoots and documents engineering systems applications. Develops test strategies used in the automated regression testing of these systems. Follows secure coding practices, performs triaging of security issues, and implements fixes to deliver secure applications. Familiar with common software vulnerabilities and leading practices to mitigate. Works on large scale, complex projects. Proactively identifies areas for improvement within the software system and development processes and proposes new solutions. Develops assignments and schedules. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Requires completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or similar discipline, and a minimum of 7 years of related experience, including software development experience.
