Iterate rapidly, collaborating with product and design to launch the first versions of new products. Work with engineering teams in different geographic locations to design, debug, analyze, and resolve complex problems for customers and SAP internal stakeholders. Participate in code reviews, sharing your experience and best-practice knowledge with colleagues. Lead and drive, all aspects of development life cycle, including requirements verification, solution building and alignments with stakeholders, architectural design, implementation, and testing to meet quality criteria and processes to deliver best solutions to our customers. You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a top-tier educational institute with 5-10 years’ work experience.  You have a working knowledge of relational databases / SQL and know how to produce high quality and testable code. Experience with the full life cycle of software development. You enjoy working with a diverse group of people with different expertise backgrounds and perspectives. Passion to constantly learn on the job. You have a good understanding of high availability, disaster recovery and networking (TCP/IP) concepts. Experience working on Microsoft Windows or Linux or IBM AIX. Hands-on experience with Bash and Batch scripting is a must. Knowledge of programming languages like Java and Python will be a strong plus. Strong problem solving and communication skills. The role provides opportunities to work on a wide stack of SAP technologies and products, including SAP Replication Server, SAP ASE database and several tools, scripts and modules in that environment.
