In your role as “IT Technology Services - SAP Basis Automation Specialist – High Availability” you are enabling the Automation & Delivery of robust, downtime optimized and highly automated lifecycle management activities operated within ECS. You will take ownership of integration scenarios and operational processes considering accelerated growth (RISE with SAP). Focus of your activities will be increasing automation in downtime minimized services, along with stabilization improvements to help Operations to reduce manual effort and cost structure (lower TCO) and deliver faster services to our customers. Following activities will be part of your role: Contribute to cloud-like innovation, standardized maintenance activities for seamless customer experience with special focus on Business Continuity, High Availability aspects Optimize and stabilize NetWeaver lifecycle management procedures in a pro-active way leveraging analytical tools and capabilities Covering multi-cloud providers like AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform Structure and coordinate activities, action plans incl. requirements engineering, prioritization, and creating aligned timelines for deliverables Create and align test plans, support and perform testing/validation and roll-out activities Change Management tracking of technical topics in Jira Drive issue resolution together with the team and utilizing the expert network Support technology-related projects in complex environment Manage relationship between different stakeholder groups inside and outside ECS Delivery > 5 Years of professional experience in SAP BASIS skills, Database administration (Hana, ASE, DB2) and system operations know-how, ideally in multi-cloud environment Minimum 1 Yrs experience in Business Continuity, High Availability & Disaster Recovery topics Professional experience in Cloud infrastructure, system administration or as a technical consultant in SAP cloud implementation Best practices experience in an SAP application / technology / solution (NetWeaver) Knowledge in design and structuring of integrated E2E SAP Lifecycle Management Procedures Good Project management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Willingness and experience working in international teams Good understanding of SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.) SAP Enterprise Cloud Services accelerates and simplifies our customers’ business transformation by running their SAP ERP value stack with a world-class level of availability, security & resilience on their preferred cloud infrastructure.
