What role you will play in our team This role is responsible for coordinating activities of the Revenue and Royalty Accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely recognition of revenue, payment of royalties / taxes, and completion of required government reports. Location: Bengaluru, India What you will do Key Responsibilities: Revenue Recognition: Assist in the review of revenue and royalty accounting entries and ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting tasks Royalties Calculation: Assist in preparation and review of stakeholder royalty payments, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory requirements. Tax Management:  Perform review of accounting activities related to government required taxes. National Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate completion of required national royalty payments and reporting. Audit Support:  Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring compliance About You Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA or relevant certification is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting / revenue and royalties management, preferably within the oil and gas industry. Experience with SAP GUI, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP-PRA, PAS, BlackLine or other revenue accounting systems is preferred. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, especially related to revenue and royalty accounting.  Experience with US GAAP accounting standards is a plus. Ability to analyze financial data and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance. Effective communication skills to liaise with governmental agencies, working/royalty interest owners, and internal teams. Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial transactions. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
