Ensuring competitiveness of Cummins products in our markets while preserving desired margins. Utilizing Total Cost Opportunity (TCO) model methodology. + **Intellectual Property Management:** Assuring protection of Cummins Intellectual Property to optimize its use for future competitive advantage by engaging the Legal and Procurement function; ensuring Cummins’ intellectual property ownership rights are clearly defined in executed agreements. + **Negotiations Excellence:** Utilizing tools and methods in negotiations to achieve Cummins stakeholder objectives and mutually agreedupon contract terms. + **Procurement Ethics:** Avoiding supplier engagement that may compromise sourcing, selection, and management processes; seeking counsel to ensure compliance. + **Supplier Relationship Management:** Defining category’s key/strategic suppliers and managing relationships using the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process with established work plans, senior sponsor meetings, and scorecards. Evaluating collaborative relationships with key/strategic suppliers to deliver value to Cummins and the supplier. + **Supply Base Risk Management:** Minimizing supplier risk to Cummins by proactively mitigating risks through risk analysis tools and risk mitigation playbooks to manage continuity of supply, reputational risk, and risk to margins.
