Job Title: Staff Accountant
Overview/Summary of the role:
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, which includes managing financial transactions, managing ledgers and budgets, reconciling accounts, and generating financial statements. You will work to maintain accurate financial records so that the organization can ensure that all financial transactions are properly accounted for.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Record financial transactions, which includes posting of debits and credits to the general ledger system
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations between bank and company accounts
