We currently have an opportunity for a QA Selector - Grain Grader located in our Winnipeg Richardson Innovation Centre.  You will support Richardson's business units through continuous improvement and sustainability of Corporate Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs. Responsibilities:Lead corporate grains & oilseeds commodity quality assurance programs to assess annual crop qualityAnalyze results for data trending, verification of compliance with commercial contractual terms and providing consultative support to the business unitsDevelop and facilitate grains & oilseeds training modules to educate business unit personnel in the assessment of quality and food safety and food safety attributesEstablish quality assessment standards, technology & calibration system standards and food safety & defense program standards consistent with corporate and regulatory requirementsLead and manage quality/food safety-related incident investigations for root cause and liaising with customers, business units and regulatorsCoordinate and lead food safety/defense audits and with operating business units in attending to corrective actions initiativesMaintain current knowledge and understanding of the applicable industry and regulatory requirements Qualifications:Degree or Diploma in Science or a related disciplineMinimum three years of experience working directly in a quality assurance and food safety roleInspector P1 III Certificate (Canadian Grain Commission) or willingness to challenge and successfully pass the examinationWorking knowledge of quality assurance, food safety and food defense systems and practicesStrong analytical, organizational and investigative skillsDemonstrated leadership and facilitation skills Richardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary, pension, a flexible benefits plan and training and career development opportunities. Interested candidates should click the APPLY TO THIS POSITION to apply online by July 4, 2024. Richardson International values diversity in the workplace.
