Job Description
Position Info:
· Position: Graphic Designer
· Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
· Wage: $34.62~$36.00/hour (depending on experience)
· Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
· Number of Positions: 1
· Work Location: 269 Lone Oak Place, Victoria, BC V9B 0X3
Benefits:
· 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
· Create the graphic elements that align with the clients' objectives
· Produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations.
· Estimate cost of materials and time to complete graphic design
· Modify or enhance current visual representations
· Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements
· Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs
Job requirements:
· Language: English
· Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience is required
· Education: A university degree in visual arts with specialization in graphic design, commercial art, graphic communications or cartooning or Completion of a college diploma program in graphic arts is required
· A portfolio of work is required
